IMPORTANT TERMS
Promotional Watches: Imprinted, embossed or engraved with your logo and message to promote and advertise your business, profession or event.

Analog: Watches which have hour and minute hands. Some also have a second hand.

Digital: An electronic display of the time.

Date Window: An area on the face of the watch which displays the day of the month.

Material: Watches are normally made of metal (Gold, Silver, Stainless Steel, etc.). Inexpensive watches are made of plastic.

Bands: Watch bands are available in metal, leather, fabric and plastic.

Mechanism: The internal components of the watch. Some non-brand watches have brand names (Citizen, Seiko, etc.) components.

Embossing: A process which gives the image on the face of the watch a 3D look (Medallion raised image). Image is the same color as the watch face.

Imprinting: Colored inks applied to the surface of the watch. Cost based on the number of imprint colors.

Decorating Area: The physical area on each watch where your logo or message can be imprinted. Name brand watches require that their logo also be on the watch face.

Die Charge: Applies to watches which are embossed with a 3D image. Medallion is the term applied to this process.

Screen Charge: Cost per color to transfer your logo or image from a graphic format to a media for imprinting.

Brand Names: Nationally known products.

QUR: Abbreviation for Quotation Upon Request.
